Hi, I am an Edinburgh based artist My work comprises mainly of silk painting and screen printing

One of the things I love best about both silk painting and screen printing is the element to which the process itself both shapes and influences the final work. The way the ink moves and flows across the silk and the fact that the printing process itself in part informs the final image, 

I derive much of my inspiration from nature and my local area; The rugged Scottish east coast, The hills and Pentlands as well as the local bird and wildlife
